Jim Staudt received a 2007 Level II US EPA Science and Technology Achievement Award with the citation:

· Providing the Public with a Comprehensive Summary of Technologies for Control of Mercury Emissions from Electric Utility Boilers

This was for work performed with EPA scientists and engineers, Ravi Srivastava, Nick Hutson, Frank Princiotta, and Blair Martin and published in the following journal article:
